I'll preface this by saying I don't enjoy hot weather in the least...suffice it to say I don't own many "summery" clothes (despite living in Southern CA...I know, I know) - I'm pretty much at a loss when it's hot. Total fall/winter nerd. 

Oversized sweater on a 99 degree weather day? You betcha.

I'm ridiculously obsessed with this Pageboy sweater I managed to get my hands on in Macau 2 years ago (it's like a blanket with sleeves, but way better than a snuggie, obviously). Totally kicking myself for not getting the grey version, too, it really is way too perfect for just about anything.

If by cape they mean poncho. Not gonna lie, I kind of like that ponchos are making a comeback. They're absolutely perfect for days when you can't be bothered...throw them on over a tank and some jeans and you'll be a stylish lazy ass instead of just a lazy ass. 

This Boessert-Schorn "cape" certainly stands out on it's own with the crazy bold Rorschach-like patterns. It has potential as a conversation piece if you spread out your arms and ask someone what they see...but that might take a turn in the wrong direction. Unless that's what you're going for...

Anyways. I love it. Though the double-knit wool might be a little warm for the summer...not to mention the fact that a long chunky turtleneck is attached, in case you want to hide your face, too.
